sometimes, while exploring new places, we feel more comfortable with our dogs on a leash to be certain everyone is safe and having a great time, especially when at a park with plenty of other furry friends running around.
the good thing is, needing a little help with a leash won't affect the outcome of your photos.
i find myself experimenting more and more with photo editing - removing a little bit of the unnecessary clutter of leaves and cracks on the ground can do wonders for making a more crisp and pleasant photo to look at. the learning never ends and it takes a lot of time, but it is all so worth it.
i have attached a few examples of how a leash (and less clutter) won't distract from the main purpose of the images by simply removing them.
this is the lovely maggie. she would much rather go exploring than be a model, but that didn't get in the way of how fantastic she looks in a photograph.
